There seems to be a good amount of debate over whether a Fuel Injection Service is really necessary. The truth is that with the amount of heat under hood, the different qualities of gasoline that are constantly being put into your tank and normal wear and tear require that the fuel injection system get some servicing to help keep engine efficiency up. A fuel injection service is more than just a "cleaning". It involves the following:
1) Check fuel pump operating pressure and volume
2) Test pressure regulator for operation and leakage
3) Flush entire fuel rail and upper fuel injector screens to include pressure regulator
4) Clean fuel injectors
5) De-carbon engine assembly
6) Clean throttle plate and idle air control passages
7) Check minimum air flow rate and adjust if needed
8) Relearn on-board computer
