Saturn was under the General Motors umbrella until discontinued in 2009 as part of the GM restructuring. They were known for building small economical cars that were "different". 

 

When considering the purchase of a used Saturn such as the Sky, Aura, Astra, Outlook or Vue there are a few things to keep in mind before making your decision:

-Saturn is a discontinued brand that may be selling at a heavily discounted rate due to the false belief that replacement parts and service for the vehicle will be unavailable (GM has squashed this rumor)

-the later model Saturns were either labeled "Red Line" (for performance) or "Green Line" (for efficiency

-most Saturns in general get pretty solid gas mileage, have quiet running engines and offer good interior space for drivers and passengers
