When purchasing a used Buick like the LaCrosse, Enclave or Lucerne there are some things you should keep in mind:
-the Lucerne has had issues with oil and transmission fluid leaks so be sure to check and make sure the hoses are in good condition
-the LaCrosse has had issues with their front brakes where a film develops causing excess noise. Check maintenance history to make sure this problem has been dealt with.
-get as much maintenance history as possible because there have been quite a few issues with later 2000 model Buicks and the more knowledgeable you are about the car's history the better purchase decision you can make.
